Sometimes when using a Windows operating system, the application window (say BillQuick login) can go completely offscreen. In other words, clicking on the preview of the application on the taskbar does not bring the window in view because it has moved to outside the viewable area of the screen. To resolve this, follow these steps:
- Hover your mouse pointer over the application icon on the taskbar. A preview of the application appears above the icon.
- Move your mouse pointer to the preview, right-click it, and select Restore. If this option is grayed-out, you can directly move ahead to the next step.
- Again right-click the preview of the application as before and select Move. Make sure you do not move your mouse during or after the selection. The application window can now be moved using keyboard controls.
- Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move the application window and bring it back into the viewable area of the screen. Now you are ready to use the mouse again.
