A user is not able to run an Aging Report in BillQuick as of a specific date, say 12/31/20xx. The report filter doesn't seem to work. Also, the balance of the A/R is reduced by payments that have been received since that date.
The right report to run for this purpose is the Aging As Of report instead of the standard Aging Report. It is recommended to run this report from the Reports menu > Reports > Aging and select the "As Of" date filter. The Aging As Of report when run from the Report Center needs to be filtered by the Invoice Date and Payment Date filters, which may be complex for some users. The As Of date is a special filter that was added in BillQuick 2012 to the Report Center. In the older versions, this filter was available only when you ran the report from the Reports menu.
The Aging As Of report does NOT match the standard Aging Report because it only includes those invoices that were open as of the cut-off date.
