Users are getting poor resolution on company logos appearing on invoices and reports in ArchiOffice/EngineerOffice. The logo appears slightly distorted or “fuzzy”.
It is likely that the original graphical logo being used does not have or is not set with the appropriate resolution settings in order to be rendered clear on an invoice.
Use the following settings to improve the resolution on logos. When using the following settings, logos should appear clearly, correctly and distinctly on invoices and reports.
Note: Use the following settings and dots per inch (dpi) when creating the original graphical image logo to be used. Do not create or use a logo with a lesser dpi and then simply try to increase the dpi later on using a graphics editor.
In other words, do not increase the dpi of an existing image. The image file needs to be created at the higher dpi from the onset.
Image Logo Settings:
Size: 7.5 x 1 inch
dpi: 384
When printing: Export invoices and reports to Microsoft Word using Rich Text Format (RTF) before printing. This will help retain the image resolution over the printer.
Note: In the event that output is still not satisfactory, ArchiOffice invoice templates can be customized to have the logos hard coded onto them.
