User is unable to sync vendor bills between BillQuick and QuickBooks.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Match vendors - In the case of reimbursable employee expenses, there must be a Vendor ID assigned to the employee before a bill can be sent to QuickBooks from Expense Log. This is because vendors must be linked to vendor bills for the sync to succeed. You must identify any duplicates; they will appear with a 1 in front of the name.
Usually you will receive a specific error like this stating that all associated Employees, Vendors, Expense Codes and Projects must be transferred to QuickBooks first.
2. Match related records such as Activities/Expenses/Projects/Clients - A vendor bill will only sync items (services and expenses) that are linked, so a partial sync of a vendor bill is possible. For example, just one unlinked project can be the cause of an incomplete sync. If this happens, you may have to delete the incomplete vendor bill in QuickBooks until you can link all the necessary records and resend. Other Charge Items are linked to Expense Codes and Service Items are linked to Activity Codes in BillQuick.
3. Review QuickBooks Integration Settings - Check the Send/Get Settings on the BillQuick-QuickBooks Integration Settings screen to ensure vendor bill sync is enabled. The last vendor bill sync date appears at the bottom of the screen. You may have to choose 'Ignore Last Sync Date' in the event a vendor bill was changed but be sure to un-check this setting after confirming the sync was successful.
