This article explains the basic steps involved in enabling the Time Card Monitoring feature in BillQuick Agent 20xx.
1. Select the Time and Expense Settings option from the Reminders menu in BillQuick Agent.
2. Check the ‘Enable Time Card Monitoring’ option for the desired employee whose time you want to monitor.
3. You need to specify the working days for the employee by checking the relevant boxes. Also mention standard working hours per day.
4. Select the frequency for monitoring the time card:
- Weekly: In order to monitor time on a weekly basis, you need to check the Weekly frequency. In a weekly mode, Agent takes the sum of all working day hours (as specified in step 3) and checks whether employee has logged these hours in BillQuick for the previous week. If logged hours are less, then Agent will notify you about it. This notification is generated immediately in the beginning of the next week (12:00 midnight + Grace Hours, i.e., if weekly grace hours are 9, then you get notification after 9 AM of the first day of the week).
- Daily: In order to monitor time on a daily basis, you need to check the Daily frequency. In a daily mode, Agent takes the last working day hours (as specified in step 3) and checks whether employee has logged these in BillQuick for the last working day. If logged hours are less, then Agent will notify you about it. This notification is generated immediately in the beginning of the next day (12:00 midnight + Grace Hours, i.e., if daily grace hours are 9, then you get notification after 9 AM).
5. You may check both weekly and daily options at the same time and Agent will perform action based on step 4, i.e., you will get both weekly and daily notifications. There will be no conflict between the two.
