A user wants to bill any overtime (over 40 hours a week) on a project at an Overtime Rate; however, it doesn't seem to be working. The bill rates are entered correctly for the employees but calculations in the invoice are not including the overtime rate/amount.
Make sure that you have set the Overtime Bill Rate for your employees in the Employee>Rate screen. After filling in the correct rates, any future overtime entries will have correct overtime (OT) rates. However, to apply the overtime rates to the existing time entries, you must do the following:
- In the time entry screen, Sheet View, use the right-click Update Rates option or
- Run QuickUpdate utility to correct the incorrect overtime rates of your time entries
