When launching the ArchiOffice/EngineerOffice Client for the first time after installing an update, user is repeatedly prompted with an Open File dialog:
‘Select a file or directory'
The user is prompted because of a security blockage. After installing an update, ArchiOffice attempts to download new versions of the report files via FTP but that file transfer is blocked, thus preventing reports from being updated.
ArchiOffice needs to be allowed to communicate freely using the FTP protocol on Port 21. If you click Cancel on each of these dialogs, the process will eventually move on. When done, please contact BQE Technical Support to receive a link to download the current version of the report files, which can then be manually copied to the server.
