ArchiOffice/EngineerOffice randomly locks up and freezes.
This problem is sometimes caused by Windows power saving features which turn off the server’s network adapter.
It’s highly recommended that your ArchiOffice server is not configured to hibernate, go to sleep or enter any power saving mode.

It’s highly recommended that your ArchiOffice server is not configured to hibernate, go to sleep or enter any power saving mode.
Do the following to resolve this problem:
- Open Windows Device Manager. Select Start menu, Run and enter devmgmt.msc and click OK. Windows 7 users should click Start menu and enter the same command in the Search box.
- In the Device Manager, expand the Network Adapters folder to display the PC’s adapters.
- Right-click on each listed adapter and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
- Click on the Power Management tab, if there is one.
- Deselect the “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” checkbox and click OK.
- Reboot the server.
- Repeat steps 1-4 to navigate back to the Power Management tab and verify that the changes were saved. If settings were not saved, contact your computer’s manufacturer for assistance.
