BillQuick users receive error messages when trying to download credit card payments.
The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
Recently, Plug n Pay (Innovative Merchants partners) upgraded their API SSL Security support to TLS 1.2. This change affects BillQuick 2017/2016/2015 in the below functions:
- Process Credit Cards
- Download Credit Card Payments
Please note that this change does not affect BillQuick 2018 users as it fully supports TLS 1.2.
For BillQuick 2017/2016/2015, all actively supported versions of Windows (e.g., Windows 7/8/8.1/10) support TLS 1.2 with minor registry tweaks. The below zip file has registry tweaks, which need to be executed on your PCs. Please contact your IT Administrator for this.
