Server error in '/EO 2017' application on logging in

Problem: User is getting the following server error when logging in to or launching the ArchiOffice/EngineerOffice program:

Unable to cast object of type ‘ArchiOffice.AOCulture’ to type ‘System.Globalization.CultureInfo’

This error has several possible causes and solutions:

Cause 1: The .NET globalization settings in IIS is not set correctly.

Solution: Please refer to the KB article http://kb.bqe.com/questions.php?questionid=499 for the solution.

Cause 2: Some of the Windows IIS components required by ArchiOffice are not installed on the server hosting the software.

Solution: Please contact Technical Support for assistance on this. 

Cause 3: Interference by another software during the installation process might have corrupted the installation.

Solution: Manually remove ArchiOffice/EngineerOffice and all the IIS entries including Application Pools, virtual directories, etc., running on the server. When you have finished, you can then reinstall ArchiOffice/EngineerOffice on your computer. Make sure to launch the installer using the Run as Administrator option.
