Login failed for user

Problem: When connecting to the SQL server, BillQuick user gets an error.

Login failed for both billquicksql and sa user.

Solution: Follow the steps below to fix this error:

1. Try disabling Windows Firewall and attempt to connect again.  If this fails, the password used may be incorrect.
2. If you have verified it's not a firewall issue and the password is correct, the next step is to open the SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
3. Right-click on the SQL server where your BillQuick database is located and choose Security.

4. Select 'SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode'.
5. Restart the SQL server for the configuration changes to take effect.

Once completed, you should be able to connect BillQuick to your SQL database.
